We are also an Ephrata High School Senior Project Location
Creation and development of new crafts design and ideas.
We love new ideas and need you to show us how it's done.
Whether it is your original idea,
or one you saw in a magazine that you bring to life,
you help show everyone how to creatively recycle
by making demonstration models to display in the shop.
We love the creative transformational process of making our fantastic wonderland
an even better place to shop and get creative.
We balance whimsy with function and aesthetics.
Sometimes this means designing a new interact able diorama,
or new shelves,
or bulding just about anything.
Volunteers of all trades are highly appreciated.
If you like a clean space, we love you!
We have an extra special place in our hearts for the volunteers who tidy up.
It's the little things like keeping the stock on the shelves organized, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping that make the store such a fun place to be, and we thank you!
Some people just love to help others imaginations come to life.
They patiently show possibilities while not stifling the creativity of those they help.
They anticipate needs and ensure tools are at hand.
A good craft workshop leader will almost not be noticed by the participants who will be way too involved with their craft.
This is not a position of power but a subtle servant helping participants to have a fantastic time creating something of their very own.
Many of our donations arrive mixed up and need to be sorted out to display them.
Sorting leaves you with the satisfaction of completion when you get to the bottom of the container of whatizits and thingamajigs.
If you like to keep things organized then we want you to know how much we appreciate all of the volunteer hours you spend sorting.
Our local News Team Blue Ridge Channel 11 Peter Taraborelli and cameraman John did a fantastic piece on the wishing tree!
